magic

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC?

Growing up, we all have been well exposed to all those very MAGICAL fairy tales haven't we? Alahh, those which have the very kind of superr exaggerated happy ending..

(YOU DON'T?! you gotta be kiddin' me..)

You know, how Snow White suddenly came back to life (after being somewhat dead or coma?) when the Prince kissed her and while the other Prince suddenly turned into a frog aand how the Fairy godmother transformed a pumpkin into a lovely carriage for Cinderella to ride.. and then there's Harry Potter and Narnia which drives me craazy just by hearing the names..

All of them have this major similarity which is basically magic. There wasn't a part of the story and plot that was not magic. And magic means power. 

But the thing is, is it really REAL?

My sisters and I, we used to be sooo crazy over the Winx club. I can still clearly remember back then when i was like eleven i had foolishly  daydreamed of becoming a member of the Winx Club (yup the very the one) *facepalm*

In the middle of the class if i was bored i would start imagining myself changing into the glittery-sparkly-sexy costume like all the winx members wore and start flying around. (like was i insane back thennn?!!)

Then when i was so into Harry Potter and Narnia, i dreamt of going to Hogwarts and hoped to find the closet which will then brings me to Narnia.

The fact that i still am dreaming of and hoping for them after gazillion years technically proves that all the magical tv series and films did strongly influenced and brainstormed people. Not just on kids but also on adults guys. They really did a great job don't they, the producing team?

BUT.


Being a muslim, it is wrong to believe and have faith in other powers aside of believing in the ultimate power of our God, Allah s.w.t.

To watch and entertain yourself with magic films (or just any kind of films) isn't a wrong thing but to fully immerse yourself into the maksiat they did in that particular film and to admit that there's other god or power but Allah is definitely WRONG.

Seeing and witnessing many of muslims out there got so drifted away just scares me to death. So as a muslim i really have to secure my iman (faith) in careful details.

Holding onto these, i would just thought of magic as equally as science and it's scientific theories whatnots.
